Bopomofo is a phonetic writing system for Mandarin Chinese, analogous to pinyin, except using Chinese character derived symbols instead of the Latin alphabet. Traditionally it's written linearly, again, akin to pinyin. But I feel the aesthetics of the characters work much better when structured in blocks, like Chinese characters or Hangul.
To that end, here's a font that enables that.
